  • *NEW* Electronic Novice Evaluation Process

The Chin Track Days staff wants to thank you for your support of our program. For 2022 we are implementing a new, electronic, student evaluation process that we believe will not only save you time, but will also provide more accurate information to Chin staff on your assigned novice driver. Some details on the process are outlined below. If you prefer videos, you can click here for a short YouTube video on the process. More detailed information will be provided via email prior to each event, and at the Instructor Meeting at the event.
    • Once pairings are completed, you will receive an email with your novice's name, email address and a link to a pre-filled student evaluation form.
    • Please use this opportunity to connect with your assigned novice prior to the event. Priority: plan a paddock rendezvous with your assigned novice to ensure a successful meet-up. Where/when will you connect for the first time?
    • At the end of the event, click on the student evaluation link in the email.
    • The novice driver's name, your name and the event will all be pre-filled for you.
    • If you were assigned a different novice than the one listed on the evaluation, you can delete the name and type in a new name.
    • Answer all the questions and provide any additional feedback at the bottom.
    • Click "Submit" at the bottom.
    • You do not need a Google (or any other) account to use the form. It's accessible to anyone with the link.
This online evaluation is an "end of event" form. It's designed to communicate vital information on your assigned novice to Chin staff at the end of the event. Please try and submit it before you leave the track. It only takes a couple of minutes. Paper evaluations will still be available if you like to use those as a coaching tool with your assigned novice. You do not need to turn in the paper evaluation to Chin staff. We recommend you give the paper evaluation to your novice. Even if you do use a paper evaluation, we ask that you still submit an electronic one at the end of the event.

If you have any questions on this new system, please contact me at [email protected] with those questions.

Thanks again for all you do. We hope that the Chin format works for you and provides a place to satisfy your track addiction.
We look forward to seeing you at the track real soon.

    Jim Pomroy
