street driving with race numbers

I didn't see this covered anywhere...

I will be at Road Atlanta this weekend. If I tech inspect on Friday, can I drive to hotel and dinner without getting pulled over in Braselton with my race numbers on?

Can I show I have my number stickers in my hand on Friday, but not put them on until Saturday?
